Exhibition view “Distensiones”
This exhibition was a collaboration between La Galería Rebelde and La Erre to create the universe conceptualized by artist JJ Estrada. Using photographs as the main medium, the exhibition reflects on contemporary society, the construction of symbols and the history behind the construction of meaning and memory. Using collage, the photographs juxtapose to create new symbologies and narratives of daily life; its absurdity, symbolism and the constant war between technology and nature, faith and science, time and space, present and memory.
